Big Stig standing tall in Warsaw

Top Gear Mascot, The Stig has traveled around the world shot multiple machines quickly, but this time he arrived in Warsaw, Poland, and stands as tall as 30 feet.

As we reported a few days ago, the BBC have their statues Big Stig 30-foot tall fiberglass in the Top Gear studio at Dunsfold Aerodrome, UK. By using the truck "flatbed", it is sent to the Polish capital to mark the launch of the new channel network, BBC Brit.

Now it has arrived and is being exhibited outside the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw's landmark built by the Soviets, was the tallest building in Poland and one of the highest in Europe. Next to the tower 778-foot-tall, Big Stig may seem small, but he's still five times larger than The Stig real.

BBC and the giant Stig giant in Poland

The Stig statue with a height of 30 feet and took more than two months to be built from fiberglass. Yup, a giant statue of The Stig. BBC had booked statue mascot program Top Gear, and it is on its way through northern Europe.

Measuring 30 feet high and made of fiberglass, a giant installation produced and created by three sculptors for more than two months. To put its size into perspective, consider that even without legs, just torso and head alone will stand as tall as 12 feet high, as high as the double-decker bus (Double Decker) in London!

Once completed at the headquarters of Top Gear in Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, UK, he began his three-day trip by truck "flatbed" from England to Poland, passed way through Amsterdam and Berlin before finally arriving in Warsaw. There he will be erected opposite the Palace of Science and Culture, a landmark in the Polish capital.

The project was undertaken to celebrate the launch of BBC Brit, a new channel that focuses on young people. Top Gear too, will be published in the new channel BBC Brit.
