Nissan X-Trail Hybrid launched - 2.0L engine with an electric motor

Nissan introduced a hybrid version of the Nissan X-Trail crossover in Japan that will be made available beginning 13 May.

X-Trail Hybrid is equipped with four-cylinder engine 2.0-liter affiliated with a motor of electrical, lithium-ion battery pack and transmission Xtronic. Conventional engine produces 147 kusadakuda at 6,000rpm and 207 Nm of torque at 4,400rpm, while the electric motor generates 41 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque immediately.

Compared with normal X-Trail model, this hybrid model produces 75% less NOx and MHC (non-methane hydrocarbons) and fuel consumption is 20.6 km / L (or 4.8 liters for 100 km).

This model has its system "Forward Emergency Braking" which is offered as a standard feature for all models Nissan (JDM-spec Japanese market only) starting this autumn. Other changes compared with normal X-Trail model includes Regenerative braking system, aerodynamically-optimized floor, Around View Monitor with Intelligent Parking Assist and others.

A JDM model (for the Japanese market only), Nissan X-Trail model Hybrid is offered with a starting price 2,804,760 JPY (RM85k) for the two wheel drive variant up to 3,240,000 JPY (RM98k) for 4WD model variants.

GT-R Nismo - first deliveries to customers in the UK [video]

Nissan GT-R has delivered the first NISMO to customers in the United Kingdom.

In honor of the event, Nissan has invited the model owner, Nick Coombes to Thruxton circuit in situ where he received a tutorial one-to-one with riders Nismo, Jann Mardenborough.

According Coombes, "Once you have a GT-R, you have not forgotten the other. This is the third GT-R's mine. After getting to know that they (Nissan) announce about GT-R Nismo, I am sure, that I have to have it. "

GT-R Nismo engine is equipped with 3.8-liter V6 twin turbo-dissipating 600 bhp and 651 Nm of torque. This model only requires 7: 08,679 to complete the lap round the Nürburgring circuit.

Only 24 units of the GT-R NISMO imported into the UK and all have already been sold out.

Nismo has steadily increased from a specific label (niche) for fans to sub brand JDM Nissan superior performance. And its ranks will increase by another model next week's Chicago Auto Show when the door is opened.

Nissan did not say what they save for Chicago again, but what they did, it must have been all-new model that we have never seen before. Previously, Studio Performance Datsun has already given us the version of Juke, 370Z and GT-R tuned well, offering some longer version overseas markets and have presented a draft version of some other Nissan models. It is hoped that whatever has been lined for Chicago Nismo will be available as a production model and can be found in all the world including Malaysia.

2016 Nissan Altima received significant reforms

Nissan Altima did not leave just like that. In two recent model years, the company has improved the vehicle infotainment system and improve fuel economy slightly its V6 engine, among several other tuning. ASEAN NCAP has named model Nissan Teana as the safest car for children with a score of 5-star and the level of safety up 87.7%.

Nissan Teana also scored 16/16 points for Adult Occupant Protection tests category.

Nissan create Guinness World Records for longest drift in twin

Nissan has set a new record in the Guinness World Record for the achievement of two vehicles twin drift longest.

The record was recorded in Dubai in conjunction Experience Drift Nissan 370Z, 370Z with two drift on the track, at the same time, without stopping along the 28.52 kilometer

In a statement by the Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, Samir Cherfa, "By achieving this day with a new record in the Guinness World Records, we proved once again the strength (quality) that exist in the vehicles we produce." He added, "Nissan Z is very known in the arena, drifting, and with this record, the evidence on the ability of this model to conduct drifting so easily.
