Chevrolet Bolt To Fight Tesla ?!


The automotive world today is more geared towards the development of new vehicles powered by renewable energy such as electricity and hydrogen. Japanese manufacturers are more focused towards hydrogen as an energy source for their new development while European manufacturers more focused on electric power.

Among the major manufacturers in the category of electric power is also Tesla and BMW. A few days ago, Chevrolet has announced to develop a new model named Chevrolet Bolt, an electric car (EV). The car was first introduced as a concept car MI, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last month.

By Alan Batey, vice president of GM North America, the positive response of the public to give confidence to the manufacturers to build a production version of the car.

Chevrolet Model Bolt is a direct competitor to the Tesla EV model, Model 3 and is expected it will beat the Tesla model that has not come out of it. Chevrolet Bolt seem more conventional and do not overdo the design compared to the BMW i3 model, but it will come with the same internal pull with the i3 model.

If the production model is almost similar to the concept model, the Chevrolet Bolt is going to come to the exhibition booth 2017 started this.

Although the train technical specifications have not been released, Chevrolet dijangka Bolt will be sold at the price of USD30,000 and GM promised that it is able to move as far as 320km each time to be charged full.
