Still remember the concept car Kia products named Soul'ster and Track'ster? This time the Korean manufacturer that provides interesting clues for Soul hatchback variants, such as pickup trucks for Soul'ster and stylish hot hatch for Track'ster. This time, Kia has released the latest teaser for the Soul variant for 2015 Chicago Auto Show for the latest concept named Trail'ster.
As the name given, this latest concept illustrates 4 × 4 version of Soul variants. Currently there are only two teaser images released but the image itself already seems extreme elements such as height increases, the protection under the chassis and a sturdy rim. Kia says this concept will also come with a canvas roof can pull back.
To ensure that it can move beyond the road, this Trail'ster system comes with all-wheel-drive. Kia says it will come with the system rear-wheel-drive electric wise to replace the conventional system. Trail'ster model will use a turbocharged engine, so most likely it uses a hybrid system all-wheel-drive where the engine will move the front tires while the electric motor will drive the rear wheels. Kia deploy these systems as e-AWD.
We all will be revealed all the details soon at the Chicago Auto Show that will start on 12 February.
