If you are in England next week to visit the London Eye on the south bank of the River Thames, you'll probably noticed one interesting installation. That's where GM's British subsidiary, Vauxhall has put a Vauxhall Corsa hatchback full scale, which is hung upside down on a curved substrate.

This sculpture is the work of British artist Alex Chinneck, famous for the installation of anti-gravity. Chinneck has worked with a team of structural engineers, experts bending steel, metal working specialists, carpenters, painters and specialist runway tarmac roads to develop them. The vehicle is 15 feet in the air depends on the pavement 50 feet long without any visible support structure.
"This installation celebrating the new Corsa as a ball of energy, which is a small car with a heart (power) great (strong)," said Chairman of Vauxhall design, Mark Adams. "Working Alex Chinneck is surprising, he's an amazing British sculptor who creates the illusion of structural engineering with the most profound. Most importantly, this amazing rip curl is symbolic of the excitement that consumers have spurred Vauxhall Corsa beloved. "

The installation will be on display in the parking Southbank Centre Park until Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Go and visit, if you were there.
