Honda Grace Hybrid launched in Japan


Earlier this month, Honda has introduced Grace Hybrid Honda (Honda New City) in Japan. Compared with the City which are sold in Malaysia and other markets, Grace was built specifically for the local market, Japan.

On the exterior, a more aerodynamic front bumper, headlights with LED types. Because it is a hybrid model, gear knob and instrument panel meter is also different from the Honda City.

The key to this model is the engine of Grace, and not the interior and exterior. This model is equipped with 1.5-liter petrol engine with the aid of an electric motor. The engine generates 108.45 horsepower with 134 Nm of torque, while the electric motor also contributed 29.08 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque.

Grace is equipped with dual-clutch transmission with seven speeds, and is available in two options; front wheel drive and all wheel drive (AWD). Similarly fuel consumption is 34.4 km / l.

Among the features available for this model, among others; braking safety in the City (which works when the speed of 5 to 30 km / h), heated front seats, climbing the hill start assistance, vehicle stability assist (VSA-Vehicle Stability Assist), air safety bags, ABS and EBD. In addition, features such as navigation, reversing camera and touch control panel to control air conditioning are also offered.
