Model RS3 previously said there are some shortcomings. However, the new model here provides higher expectations this time. For starters, the power of the 2.5-liter five-cylinder 335HP to 362HP improved from (torque has increased from 450nm to 465Nm), and perhaps more importantly, it sits on top of a VW MQB modular chassis wiser. Power chassis have been of much help during the S3 models, so with the extra power, and steady five-cylinder sound for RS version of this, everything looks more beautiful.
RS3 was able to do 0-100km / h in just 4.3 seconds, so you need to select the right when you buy one. You can reach a maximum speed of 280km / h if you can find a long enough runway, compared with the usual 250km / h.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a dual-clutch transmission 7-speed 'S Tronic', and there is an additional clutch on the rear axle which can be sent to any of up to 100 percent of torque in that direction if necessary. It is 25mm lower than the A3 Sportback, and the wheelbase is now wider.
No word on price break now, but to give you an idea of the cost when it opened for sale next summer; 355bhp Mercedes A45 AMG rival - the inevitable - impose a cost of £ 38.195, while the RS3 Sportback long just a little under £ 40,000. Rumors also say saloon version will be released
