Suzuki Introduces the Latest Suzuki Alto In Japan, average 37km / liter
Suzuki Alto kei car launched the latest generation of 8th in the Japanese market. Covers a newly developed platform, this latest Alto 60kg lighter and offer the lowest fuel consumption among non-hybrid gasoline vehicles in Japan, according to Suzuki.
More specifically, the new Alto can move as far as 37km / l which is equivalent to 2.7L / 100km 87MPG liver. This is because the 2WD model Alto that uses a 5-speed manual transmission weighs only 610kg.
Suzuki Alto model certainly has no interest to the public as weird retro design, but it is said to have a large (2,040mm) in its class, thanks to a longer wheelbase (2,460mm) than the previous model.
Suzuki also introduced the latest security technologies such as radar Brake Support, Collision Mitigation Braking-System, Hill Hold Control, Unintended Start Control System and Emergency Stop Signal.
Alto JDM model is powered by a 660cc 3-cylinder engine naturally aspirated and turbocharged, and combined either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. It is sold with 2WD and 4WD variants, with a starting price of 847.800 yen (RM24,629) untul basic model.
