Mazda Starts Production at the New Plant Transmission Thailand


Mazda Motor Corporation has announced its new transmission plant, Mazda Powertrain Manufacturing (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (MPMT) were awoken in the area Chonburi, Thailand. This refinery was awoken to produce SKYACTIVE-Drive automatic transmission on a large scale.

Annual Capacity in this MPMT refinery dijangka approximately 400,000 units and when combined with the production of refinery Hofu in Japan, Mazda's annual expenditure budget will be increased to 1,540,000 units globally.

Transmission generated in this MPMT refinery will be procured to make global trains including the Auto Alliance Thailand's where it will be used on the model Mazda 2, Mazda 3 and Mazda CX-5.

Following President and CEO MPMT, Hidenori Kawakami, 30, an engineer and administrator dihantar refinery to Mazda in Hiroshima and Hofu to ensure that bekalan SKYACTIVE-Drive automatic transmission is defined by the qualities.

There is no further news about the use of automatic transmissions produced in MPMT will be used on other models.
