BBC and the giant Stig giant in Poland
The Stig statue with a height of 30 feet and took more than two months to be built from fiberglass. Yup, a giant statue of The Stig. BBC had booked statue mascot program Top Gear, and it is on its way through northern Europe.
Measuring 30 feet high and made of fiberglass, a giant installation produced and created by three sculptors for more than two months. To put its size into perspective, consider that even without legs, just torso and head alone will stand as tall as 12 feet high, as high as the double-decker bus (Double Decker) in London!
Once completed at the headquarters of Top Gear in Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, UK, he began his three-day trip by truck "flatbed" from England to Poland, passed way through Amsterdam and Berlin before finally arriving in Warsaw. There he will be erected opposite the Palace of Science and Culture, a landmark in the Polish capital.
The project was undertaken to celebrate the launch of BBC Brit, a new channel that focuses on young people. Top Gear too, will be published in the new channel BBC Brit.
