Honda Intelligent Cruise Control Is Predicting the Future Of Other Drivers
Honda now offers predictive cruise control system on the Honda CR-V Executive Grade in Europe starting this year. With the aim to further develop adaptability cruiser control at present, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control system (i-ACC) can automatically predict and act toward other vehicles cut from the front until 5 seconds before it happened.
A research team has developed the system after studying driving patterns Europeans for several years. i-ACC will track the car around with my camera and radar, "assessing the relationship between several vehicles" and will use the algorithm on the data to predict what will be done by the vehicle.
If it detects another vehicle will go into your path, Honda CR-V will be smooth braking and will show what will happen to the driver on the instrument cluster, the CR-V. Later, it will brake again to provide a safe distance after the car went into the passage.
Honda said the technology works in the United Kingdom and most likely it will work in any corner of the world. But with it, and its development is expected to take longer to be developed so that it is safer and can be used on any road.
