At the end of last year, Nissan Teana was awarded a 5-star safety ratings for the ASEAN NCAP Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP).
ASEAN NCAP has named model Nissan Teana as the safest car for children with a score of 5-star and the level of safety up 87.7%.
Nissan Teana also scored 16/16 points for Adult Occupant Protection tests category.
ASEAN NCAP test run up Teana models produced in Thailand are also believed to be brought in by Circular Tan Chong Motor to the Malaysian market which will come with safety features that are similar to the model in Thailand.
2014 Nissan Teana in Malaysia equipped with 6 air bag and standard safety features encompass Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control, Active Understeer Control and many more of the most basic variants and upwards.
